Phillip Schofield, Lewis Burton, Aston Merrygold and Kimberley Walsh also joined in, while Stacey Solomon got all emotional over the sweet gesture.

She had been clapping along with baby Rex and told fans that she had to turn off the camera, filming her, because she was about to ‘burst into tears’.

Visibly emotional, Stacey then posted another video where she said she has ‘never felt more grateful’ to be isolated with her family.

She said: ‘Feel so grateful to have the privilege of being in isolation with my family, knowing there are so many INCREDIBLE selfless heroes out there risking their lives to make sure we stay safe and get through this.

‘Thank you, thank you, thank you, we love you. Our heroes.’

Like the rest of the UK, our stars are too staying at home under new lockdown measures in place by the government in a bid to control the spread of Covid-19.
