AJ Pritchard quits Strictly Come Dancing after four years: ‘The time is right to leave the show’

AJ had partnered Saffron Barker on 2019’s series of Strictly, and the couple ended up coming in sixth place in the competition.

She commented: ‘Omg i can’t believe i was ur last partner on the show. All the best of luck, you’re going to smash whatever you do!!’

AJ made his Strictly debut in 2016 when he was partnered with Olympian Claudia Fragapane, and the couple finished in fourth place in the competition.

He then paired up with The Saturdays star Mollie King and paralympian Lauren Steadman, both of whom came fifth in their respective series.

His brother, Curtis Pritchard, is also a dancer but appeared on Love Island in 2019 and has been working on TV projects since.

AJ and Curtis have guest presented together on Lorraine in the past.
